The legendary Penn State Coach, Joe Paterno, deserved to be fired for not reporting to police what he'd been told about one of his assistants sexually abusing children.
Here's what you had to say:
Barry writes: "I agree with your 2 cents. He didn't deserve to coach another day."
Claud says: "Firing is the least JoPa deserves."
Rich asks: "Does anybody really care JoePa was fired over the phone? Had he picked one up 13 years ago and called police, he may still have his job."
But Lisa says: "He reported what he HEARD! He witnessed nothing."
You let the police sort that out, and he didn't go to them.
Alycia says: "They need to fire every single person that was aware of this…"
Dennis: "All that knew of these events and did not report them to the police should sit in a prison next to Sandusky.."
Shelly from Tuttle: "..the Penn State community.. ..screaming and chanting his name like he is a god.
Shame on them!!!"
Kelley writes: "I feel sorry for all of the victims, that had to see the coaching staff, sainted all of the time.
Must have made them sick."
Finally Pamela says: "He'll be remembered as a guy who looked the other way, essentially an accessory to a pedophile. His career will be a footnote."
I'm Kelly Ogle and that's YOUR 2 Cents.
