Last night I showed you this tree house built for a 6-year-old girl in Tulsa, built in the front yard of their home causing at least one neighbor to complain to the city.
I asked if you, yea or nay if your neighbor built one in his front yard.
Justin from Edmond writes: "Yea! If it gets kids outside and away from just sitting inside, I say yes."
Brenda adds: "It is on private property!!! Keep it!!"
But Joe from Edmond says: "I agree you should be able to build anything on your own property, but not at the expense of others!"
Annie in Choctaw: "YEA that tree house is awesome. YEA to the caring father who went the extra mile."
Mike got a kick of how I described the tree houses I built as a kid: "Except for you, me, and Dr. Seuss I do not know anybody who uses the word ramshackle anymore."
John says none of that matters: "Crooked boards or not, yea. It's Americana, and the imagination of a child at work."
Jessica in Norman: "It deserves to be in the front yard for everyone to see! It's beautiful, and very well built!"
Patrick writes: "Lucky kid, I say! Enjoy!"
Finally Travis: "I like the tree house. Better than the 15 dogs and 20 junk cars. Might be a good mother-in-law add on."
