News 9 is on another Road Trip, and this week we are in Chickasha for one of the city's biggest event this holiday season – the Festival of Light parade.
The nationally recognized Festival of Light is an award-winning exhibit of approximately four million lights displayed each year between Thanksgiving and New Year's in Chickasha's Shannon Springs Park. The spectacular display is enjoyed by over 300,000 guests and is produced primarily through the efforts of charitable contributions and volunteers since 1993.
News 9's own Christina Eckert and Lauren Nelson took part in the Chickasha Festival of Light parade Thursday night.
The Festival of Light is open nightly from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. and runs through December 31.
