Five suspects were taken into custody after a Muskogee teen was shot and killed Friday morning.
The victim, 18-year-old Anton Nelson, was one of five charged in the Muskogee mall shooting last year. He had since been released on bail.
Police say Nelson was shot at 21st and Tennyson in Muskogee just before 10:30 a.m. He was transported to a Muskogee hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Muskogee police took five people into custody for questioning after Friday's shooting. Their names have not been released.
Nelson was charged as a youthful offender in the Arrowhead mall shooting that killed 17-year-old Jarrod Reed, April 10, 2010.
His counts included: one count of accessory to 1st degree murder, and 5 counts of accessory to assault and battery with a deadly weapon.
