OKLAHOMA CITY – Former students spoke out on Facebook about their former professor Gary Doby, who is now facing charges of manufacturing child pornography and conspiracy to manufacture child pornography.

The charges come after it was discovered he was Skyping with students in Kimberly Crain's 3rd grade classroom at a McLoud elementary school. Crain allegedly took pictures and videos of the girls half-naked and shared them with Doby, whom the students knew as "Uncle G."

Doby awaits extradition back to Oklahoma where he will face those charges.

Doby taught at Oklahoma Baptist University for two years. Officials with the university say he resigned in order to accept a different position at another institution.

One former student, who did not want to be identified, said Gary Doby was her advisor at Oklahoma Baptist University.

Several other students sounded off on Facebook talking about some of their uncomfortable interactions with him.

In a series of text messages Friday, the former student said, "I do remember that I was uncomfortable going to his office alone. Whenever I needed to meet to have him sign off on my class schedule etc., I would have someone go with me. He was the only professor that I ever felt uncomfortable with while at OBU. I was thankful when I got assigned to another professor after he left."

But Doby had rave reviews from several students on a website that allowed them to rate the professor. In addition, OBU officials said the school does not have any formal complaints against Doby on record.

The Pottawatomie County district attorney's office said Doby will be extradited back to Oklahoma sometime next week to face the charges against him.

So far more than a dozen victims have come forward and there may be several more.
