Police arrested two juveniles Thursday accused of burglarizing homes in Del City.

Police said on December 22, the 15 and 16-year-old suspects kicked in the front and back doors of two homes. They stole several items including flat screen televisions, jewelry and a firearm.

Later that day, a Del City police officer pulled over a pickup truck at N.E. 4th Street and Vickie Drive because he suspected one of the juvenile occupants had a warrant out of Oklahoma County. The officer then discovered items taken from the two burglaries in the bed of the truck.

Detectives interviewed the teens. Police said the suspects confessed to the burglaries. They were booked into the Oklahoma County Juvenile Detention Center on complaints of second-degree burglary and possession of stolen property.

The gun and several other stolen items were not found. Police believed the juveniles sold the items before they were arrested. Police are still investigating the burglaries and said more arrests are possible.
