Construction Mistake Cuts Off Water In Downtown OKC

A contractor hit a 12-inch water main in downtown Oklahoma City Wednesday morning, briefly cutting off water service to the Oklahoma County Courthouse.

It happened around 11:30 a.m. Crews quickly located the problem and water service was restored within an hour.

Work inside the courthouse was not affected.
