Norman Man Injured After Being Struck By Car

A man was taken to the hospital after being struck by a car in Norman. The Norman Police Department reported Monday night.

It happened just before 7 p.m. Monday. Police said the man was crossing 12th Avenue N.E., just north of Main Street, when he was struck by a car. The vehicle was going southbound on the avenue at that time.

The man was taken to the OU Medical Center to be treated for his injuries. The driver of the car was not injured, police said.

The collision is still under the investigation of Norman police.
