UPDATE: A woman has been arrested in connection with a hit-and-run accident that injured a pedestrian in Oklahoma City Friday afternoon.
Police say a witness to the accident at 24th and Classen gave them a tag number and vehicle description. Police discovered the vehicle and the female driver in the 3500 block of Westmont.
The woman was arrested on felony complaints of hit-and-run and leaving the scene of an injury accident.
The suspect's name has not been released.
On person was injured when a car hit a pedestrian Friday afternoon near N.W. 24th Street and Classen.
The victim was left lying in the middle of the street after the accident. SkyNews 9 flew over the scene as an emergency medical crew worked on the patient then loaded him into an ambulance. He was then rushed to OU Medical Center.
It's not known how serious the patient's injuries are. Oklahoma City Police are still investigating and have not said how the accident happened.
