Fire Forces Brief Evacuation At Southwest OKC Apartment Complex

Some apartment residents were awakened early Thursday morning and forced out of their homes by a fire.

The flames broke out in the 5700 block of S. Agnew just after midnight. Firefighters say there were visible flames on the outside of the building when they arrived. They were, however, able to extinguish the fire within 10 minutes.

No one was hurt, and residents whose apartments were not damaged by the fire were allowed to return to their homes.
