OKC Man Facing 10 Counts Of Child Sexual Abuse

An Oklahoma City man is facing 10 counts of child sexual abuse for the alleged rape of a young girl over the past three years.

According to court documents, the victim claims that 30-year-old Juan Carlos Hernandez, had been raping her since she was seven years old.

The girl, now 10 years old, told a forensic in interviewer at the CARE Center that Hernandez would have "S-E-X" with her two or three times a week since she was seven, and that he would hit her if she did not get naked with him.

Police say the girl told her aunt what was going after her aunt confronted her about her behavior. The aunt is the one who called police to investigate.

The girl's 12-year-old brother was interviewed by police about what he knew was going on. The boy told police that Hernandez and his sister would sometimes lie on the couch in their living room with a blanket over them at night and that he suspected something sexual was going on.

Court documents state that the alleged attacks occurred after the girl's mother had already gone to bed at night or in the morning after she left for work.

Police interviewed the girl's mother, who claims she knew nothing about the alleged sexual abuse.

Hernandez was arrested on July 3. He is currently in an Oklahoma County jail awaiting trial.
