An 18-year-old girl will face an assault charge after a stabbing incident Tuesday morning in Norman.

The Cleveland County District Attorney's office will be presented with the assault with a deadly weapon charge against Lacee Jarrell Wednesday afternoon.

According to a Norman Police report, officers responded to the alleged assault call at 2600 block of W. Robinson St. around 11:18 a.m. When they arrived they found the victim, now identified as 34-year-old Terrance Osborne of Norman, with stab wounds to his left arm.

Both the victim and witnesses gave police a description of the suspect's vehicle and the direction in which the suspect fled the scene. Osborne was taken to the Norman Regional Hospital where he was treated and released in good condition.

Police officers located a vehicle fitting the description and detained six occupants just before 12:30 p.m. The police report did not state if any of the other occupants in the car will face any charges.

Police have not said what led up to the stabbing.
