Police have identified the man shot and killed at an Edmond home Sunday afternoon as 24-year-old Michael Ford.
Police said Ford went to his estranged wife's home in the 1500 block of Louis Street near Santa Fe and Danforth. Police said although the two were separated, Ford still had keys to the house.
According to investigators, Ford began fighting with the woman and her friend. Police said Ford went to his car, got a large knife, returned to the house and threatened the friend. The man said he feared for his life, so he shot Ford.
Ford was struck three times in the head and chest. He died at the scene.
Police are still investigating the deadly shooting and are treating it as a home invasion. They say no arrests have been made.
