Community Remembers Stillwater 8th Grader Who Committed Suicide At School

Family and friends say goodbye Tuesday morning to 13-year-old Cade Poulos of Stillwater.

Stillwater Police say Poulos shot and killed himself in a hallway at Stillwater Junior High School a week ago. He was an eighth grader at the school.

Poulos' funeral was held at LifeChurch TV in Stillwater at 10 a.m.

Poulos' death has the Stillwater community focusing on bullying in schools and suicide prevention. The school district and his parents both say they don't have any evidence that the teen was being bullied.

Many of Poulos' classmates say otherwise.

The Universal Human and Civil Rights Union is petitioning for the Oklahoma Department of Human Services and the Oklahoma Child Death Review Board to investigate Poulos' suicide.
