The week seven college football polls are out, and the Oklahoma Sooners took a nice leap up.
In the AP Poll, OU jumped from 17th to 13th. The Sooners (3-1) moved past the likes of Clemson, Texas and Georgia.
Also in the AP Poll, the Tulsa Golden Hurricane (5-1) stuck its nose into the fray. TU received two votes for the poll, the same as Texas Tech and one more than the likes of Northwestern and Penn State.
In the USA Today Coaches Poll, the Sooners climbed back into the top 10. Improving from No. 14 last week, OU's impressive victory over Texas Tech earned then the No. 10 spot.
The Oklahoma State Cowboys (2-2) also received five votes in the Coaches Poll, coming in between N.C. State and San Jose State.
