Oklahoma City police arrest a woman accused of stealing casino tickets and cash from another woman at Remington Park.
Police arrested Kimberly Ann Robinson, 42, on complaints of larceny of lost property. It happened on Monday, October 15 around 6 p.m. inside the casino at Remington Park. According to a police report, a woman dropped some money and two casino tickets worth $201 in the casino area. She told police, when she turned around to pick up the items, she saw Robinson pick them up. The victim said she then approached Robinson and asked for her to return the items she had just dropped.
The report states Robinson told the victim she thought she was lying about dropping the items, then put them in her purse and walked away. The victim alerted security and Robinson was taken to the security office.
According to the report, the incident was caught on security video. However, once in the security office, Robinson denied having the items. The officers said they caught Robinson stuffing the tickets and money into a hole in the security office desk. She still denied having the items, even after officers found the items inside the desk.
Police also detained Robinson's boyfriend and discovered he had felony arrest warrants out on him. Both Robinson and her boyfriend were arrested and taken to the Oklahoma County Jail.
