Police arrest a man accused of raping a 43-year-old handicapped woman.

It happened on October 20 at the victim's apartment, which is part of a group home for mentally and medically handicapped people, located in the 4500 block of Madera Boulevard.

According to a police report, Chase Stafford, 22, allegedly entered the woman's apartment and forced her into a bedroom and raped her. The victim is confined to a wheelchair and suffers from cerebral palsy. The victim told police she was unable to fight off Chase but did scream "no" the entire time.

After police interviewed Chase, they say he admitted he had no mental problems and was only living at the facility because he worked for the apartment complex.
