Solie majors in English/Business Administration with a 3.96 GPA. She ranks fourth in the SAC in assists per set (7.4) and is the school's all-time record holder in career assists (3537), single-season assists (1170), single-game assists (54) and digs (940) since MACU joined the NAIA. Solie also ranks fourth on team this season with 45 assisted blocks.
This award is voted on by CoSIDA members (College Sports Information Directors of America) and the requirements are the student-athlete must be at least a sophomore in athletic standing, have appeared in at least 50 percent of the season's athletic contests and maintained at least a 3.3 grade-point-average.
