Two women were killed after a head-on collision on State Highway 64 in Muskogee County, Saturday afternoon.
According to the police report, 47-year-old Misty Lauderdale of Muskogee was driving a '02 Chevy Camaro northbound on the highway when she departed the roadway to the right, overcorrected to the left and entered the southbound lane, colliding with a '98 Chevy Silverado driven by 51-year-old Angela Lietch of Warner.
Lietch was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected out of the windshield. Both women were pronounced dead at the scene.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers are investigating the cause of the accident.
