OU'sTony Jefferson Lands On AP All-America Second Team

The Associated Press has named Oklahoma Defensive Back Tony Jefferson to its second team All-America list.

The Associated Press has named Oklahoma Defensive Back Tony Jefferson to its second team All-America list.

Jefferson is a junior safety for the Sooners who leads the team with 113 tackles. He also has 3.5 tackles for loss and two interceptions.

The Sooners take on Texas A&M in the AT&T Cotton Bowl on January 4th. Texas A&M also landed four players on the AP's three All-America teams, including Heisman trophy winner Johnny Manziel who is on the list as first team quarterback.

The list was voted on by a panel of 16 AP college football poll voters.
