Two Students Injured In School Bus Accident In Del City

Police say wet roads led to a an accident Tuesday morning involving a Mid-Del school bus and car.

The accident happened around 8:30 a.m. in the 3900 block of Prairie Lane in Del City; that's just west of Reno and Sunnylane.

Police say a driver lost control on the wet roads, and slid into the back of the school bus. Two students on board the school bus were hurt, but not seriously. The young girls complained of neck pain and were taken to a hospital to be examined. Their parents were also notified of the accident.

The school bus was not seriously damaged, and left the scene to take the rest of the children to school.
