Lady Bison Tennis Ranked 18th In Preseason

Oklahoma Baptist's Lady Bison tennis team is ranked 18th in the NAIA Women's Tennis Coaches' Preseason Top 25.

OBU received 142 points and jumped six slots from being ranked 24th in the final poll of 2012.

The Lady Bison have four matches against Top 25 teams and two others against teams that received votes in the poll and all six of those matches will be away from home.

OBU plays No. 13 Xavier in Houston Feb. 16, at No. 20 Bethel on March 1, and then play No. 2 Embry-Riddle, No. 9 Savannah College of Art and Design and poll mentions Graceland and Webber International on their Florida trip in mid-March.

The season begins for the Lady Bison at Oral Roberts Feb. 12 with the first home match slated for Feb. 21 against Cameron.
