A bank robbery quickly leads to the bomb squad looking for explosives.
Wednesday morning, Oklahoma City police say 30-year-old Denzell Ross robbed the Bank of the West in the 5700 block of Northwest Expressway.
He showed the teller a note demanding $50,000 in cash and said he had C-4 explosives inside a briefcase.
Ross was arrested minutes after leaving the bank. That's when he told police there were explosives in his car.
The police department's bomb squad was called to check it out. After checking out the car, they didn't find anything. Ross faces federal bank robbery charges.
