High school football coaches from all over the country, Friday, presented a prestigious award "posthumously" to Chandler Coach Scott Myers.

Myers died last November, after a three-year battle with kidney cancer.

Myers' family accepted what's called the "Semper Fidelis" Coach Award in Tulsa. The United States Marine Corps and Glazier Coaching Clinics partner in hosting large coaching clinics all over America.

Scott Myers is one of only 32 coaches who received the award this year. His daughter Morgan says he was a very special man.

"You almost can't describe him. ‘He was tougher than anybody I ever met,' I heard so many people say," she said.  "My dad was just my hero."
