Freshman outfielder Hunter Haley tagged up and scored on a sacrifice fly by junior infielder Matt Oberste to push No. 11 Oklahoma to a 2-1 win in 10 innings over Kansas Friday at L. Dale Mitchell Park, marking OU's 13th straight win and fourth victory in extras in the last eight games.

The triumph over the Jayhawks (14-10, 2-3 Big 12) lifted the Sooners (25-4, 5-0 Big 12) to their second straight Big 12 series victory to open conference play. OU is off to its first 5-0 conference start since 1993 and earned its seventh walk-off win of the season.

Haley got Oklahoma's final push started in the 10th with a leadoff single through the right side. Senior infielder Jack Mayfield and freshman outfielder Craig Aikin followed with back-to-back bunt singles to load the bases. Oberste provided the game-winning RBI one out later.

Freshman infielder Kolbey Carpenter landed the game's first punch by smashing his first career home run, a one-out dinger over the wall in left center in the bottom of the second.

The series between the Sooners and Jayhawks resumes Friday at 6:30 p.m. before the series finale Saturday at 2 p.m.
