Oklahoma City is turning to lucky place to be for half-court shots.
Before the start of the fourth quarter of Sunday night's playoff game, the fan, Larry Hill, made the half-court shot. He took home $20,000.
"I was just happy. I was like, I have to go over here, and talk to somebody on the bench. I got to see somebody, I got to touch somebody and let them know, 'man, I just did this!'" Hill said.
This is the third half-court shot made at the Chesapeake Energy Arena this season.
Hill works for the counseling agency at the Britton Elementary School. He said he was born and raised in Oklahoma City, and played basketball when he was younger.
