Woman Arrested For Assault As Police Investigate Unrelated Shooting In NW OKC

A woman was arrested for assault and battery at an apartment complex in northwest Oklahoma City Tuesday night, while police were investigating an unrelated shooting of a security guard.

According to police, officers responded to the report of a security guard being shot just after 8 p.m. at the Terrace Apartments, located at 6626 N.W. 10th Street in Oklahoma City.

As police were investigating the shooting, officers say a large group of people gathered at the scene and was causing a disturbance. One woman was arrested for assault and battery.

The woman's identity has not been released.

Police have not arrested anyone in the shooting of the security guard. No suspect information is available at this time.
