Edmond city officials say Arcadia Lake will be closed indefinitely due to flooding from recent heavy rainfall and the ensuing runoff.

According to officials, all public access parks at Arcadia Lake are closed, including Central State Park, Edmond Park, Scissortail Campground, and Spring Creek Park.

As of Monday morning, lake levels were 1016.5 feet, which is 10.5 feet above normal water elevation. The result is flooding of roadways, campsites and making docks inaccessible.
