Man Arrested In Hit-And-Run Crash That Critically Injured Woman In OKC

A metro man is arrested after leaving the scene of a crash that critically injured a woman in Oklahoma City last Thursday.

Jonathan Bishop, 39, was arrested for hit and run with injury and DUI.

When police arrived to N.W. 39th and Sara Road last Thursday, they found a female driver trapped in her vehicle.

Police say Bishop abandoned his vehicle at the scene and ran away. However, someone spotted Bishop blocks away.

Officers were able to take Bishop into custody.

The woman was transported to the hospital in critical condition.
