Crews responded to the scene of a fire at a metro paint company in downtown Oklahoma City, Thursday afternoon.
Oklahoma City Fire Crews were called to the scene at the HIS Paint Manufacturing Company, located at 1700 W. Sheridan Rd. just before 4 p.m.
According to reports, the fire was located at the back and inside of the building and at one point approached some paint products. Firefighters were able to get the blaze under control before any serious damage could be caused.
Hazmat and EMSA were also called to the scene. One employee was transported from the scene to the Baptist Burn Center in serious condition.
Crews are still investigating the cause of the fire.
