Police are searching for the driver of a car that fled the scene of a hit-and-run accident in northwest Oklahoma City, Thursday night.
It happened just after 9 p.m. near Britton Rd. and Shartel Ave.
Authorities say the suspect driver crashed head on into the victim's vehicle. Police also say that alcohol likely played a factor in the crash.
The driver in the victim's vehicle had to be freed using the Jaws of Life. That person was transported to a local hospital. Their condition is not known at this time.
