An Elgin, Oklahoma, woman was killed after she crashed her car in Comanche County early Sunday morning.

It happened at about 1:30 p.m. on North Drive, one mile west of U.S. Highway 62 in Comanche County.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, a 1995 Lincoln town car driven by the 58-year-old victim was westbound on North Drive, when it ran off the roadway to the left.

The driver overcorrected to the right. The car then ran off the roadway again, striking a fence, and rolled one time.
