Two small earthquakes were recorded near Medford, Oklahoma, Thursday afternoon.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 3.2 magnitude earthquake was recorded at 4:46 p.m. Thursday. Its epicenter was located 14 miles west, northwest of Medford, 32 miles north of Enid, and 99 miles north, northwest of Oklahoma City.
It was about three miles deep.
Another 2.9 magnitude earthquake was recorded at 5:09 p.m. Its epicenter was located 13 miles west, northwest of Medford, 33 miles north of Enid, and 99 miles north, northwest of Oklahoma City.
It was about two miles deep.
No injuries or damage were immediately reported following these earthquakes.
