A small earthquake struck near the town of Spencer, Thursday evening.
The 3.0 magnitude quake was recorded one mile northwest of Spencer, or about eight miles northeast of the OKC metro area, at 5:17 p.m., at depth of just under three miles.
No damage or injuries have been reported with this quake.
According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), earthquakes with magnitudes from 2.5 to 3 are generally the smallest ones felt by humans.
