A suspect, who led Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers on a pursuit early Tuesday morning, fled the scene after crashing through a front yard in northwest Oklahoma City.
According to the OHP, the suspect crashed the vehicle through a front yard at N.W. 30th and Villa, hitting several parked cars in the neighborhood.
Authorities say the driver ran away from the scene following the crash. Oklahoma City police officers set up a perimeter and sent K-9 officers to search for the suspect. As of 7:30 a.m., police have not located the driver.
It is unclear how many people were in the suspect vehicle.
An OHP trooper told neighbors that the chase started when a trooper saw the driver speeding on Interstate 40 near MacArthur.
