Dallas police officers make an arrest in a 14 year old Oklahoma City cold case.
Officers arrested Jesus Truillo earlier this week in Dallas County, Texas, for the murder of Jose Garcia Galvan, 25, who died in February of 2000. Deputies with the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office went to Texas and brought Truillo back to Oklahoma City to face the murder charge against him.
According to OKC police, officers were called to a home located in the 1200 block of S.W. 26th Street in Oklahoma City on February 25, 2000 just after 9 p.m. in regards to a stabbing. When officers arrived, they found Galvan lying partially in the street suffering from multiple stab wounds. Galvan transported to a local hospital, where he died from a stab wound to the chest.
Witnesses told police the Truillo and victim were fighting when Truillo allegedly stabbed Galvan. Truillo then fled the scene.
