Firefighters have contained a grass fire in northwest Oklahoma City, Wednesday afternoon.
Crews responded to a grass fire at N.W. 178th and Council at about 1:45 p.m.
Bob Mills SkyNews 9 flew over the scene. Pilot Jim Gardner says the fire was burning towards a pond. But there were many cedar trees in the area.
No homes were ever threatened. Crews were able to contain the fire.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
