The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) has completed their investigation in the death of Luis Rodriguez, the man who died in Police Custody outside the Warren Theatre in Moore back in February.
OSBI officials tell News 9 they have now handed over the investigation to the Cleveland County District Attorney and say they cannot release any information until the DA has had time to review the case and decide whether or not to press charges.
The Oklahoma Medical Examiner said back in April that Rodriguez died from a cardiac arrhythmia due to physical restraint and his that his body had signs of a struggle that would not have been enough to kill him.
But according to a report done by the Moore Police, Rodriguez died when he was at the hospital, not when he was being taken into custody.
No other details have been released at this time. Keep checking with News 9 and News9.com for more on this story.
