President Obama released 5 Taliban commanders to secure the release of American Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl, a terrible deal in my opinion. Here's what you had to say:
Dennis in Shawnee first: "We are making the battlefield even more dangerous and risking the lives of more service members than the one we saved."
Lucinda from Chickasha: "Now America can expect more bombing and other things, what was he thinking??"
Carra writes: "I'm with you on this one 100% Kelly. When I heard it on the news my thought was "so much for not negotiating with terrorists!"
But Dejawn says: "Obama did the right thing, we can go catch them again, that's an American life and who's to say they don't get killed as soon as their free."
From Dale in Enid: "Sure I am glad he was released now he needs to be tried as a deserter and traitor"
Howard counters: "I feel he was serving his time where he was at for desertion during war time. He is NO hero. The men that died looking for him are."
Terry in Yukon: "Terrorist will now more than ever want to take US Soldiers hostage as they can get 5 of their own for one of ours!"
Robert asks: "Could it be the government is programing drones to welcome these terrorist home?"
Red in Stillwater: "One for one would have been bad enough but to release any of these men was just another slap in the face to the American people."
