10 slices Braum's Buttermilk bread or Kings Hawaiian Bread
1 package cream cheese, softened
1 jar strawberry jam
2 eggs
3 tablespoons milk
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1 heaping teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 stick unsalted Braum's butter, melted
Maple syrup
To begin, trim the crust from the bread and flatten it out with a rolling pin. Place about a teaspoon of cream cheese on each slice. Spread around but leaving a one inch border from the edge. Do the same with the strawberry jam. Repeat on each slice of bread. Now roll the pieces of bread setting seam side down. Using a shallow pan, like a pie pan, whisk together the eggs and milk until combined. In a separate small bowl combine the cinnamon and sugar. In a skillet over medium heat add a tablespoon of butter. Add the rolls to the egg mixture turning to make sure they are coated on all sides and then place in the hot skillet seam side down. Cook till browned on all sides. Once browned place the rolls in cinnamon sugar and serve with warm maple syrup.
