Norman Apartment Fire Call Turns Out To Be Training Exercise

A training exercise caused some confusion about an emergency situation in Norman, Wednesday afternoon.

Scanner traffic reported that fire crews were responding to an apartment complex on the south side of Norman.

No official call was made and it was soon determined that there was no fire and that emergency personnel were conducting a training exercise.

Again, there was not a fire at The Commons apartment complex in Norman and no residents were evacuated.
