Family and friends of a woman, who went missing 17 years ago are hoping for answers in her disappearance. They released balloons in her honor Saturday.
Glenda Petersen was with her daughter when she accepted a ride from a stranger after leaving Lake Thunderbird on July 5, 1997. At some point, she dropped off her daughter and left with the stranger in the dark colored truck. Petersen hasn't been seen since.
Detectives reopened Petersen's case several months ago. If you have any information you're asked to call the Norman Police Department.
