An Oklahoma City man was arrested after police said he pointed a rifle at two neighbors, and shot at a neighbor’s truck.
According to police, on Monday, July 14, officers responded to the incident in the 1000 block of S.W. 31 Street. Two victims told police that the suspect, 76-year-old Domingo Chacon, pointed a rifle at them.
Chacon reportedly even asked one victim, “you wanna die?” Another victim told police that Chacon had shot at his truck. Police said they saw bullet holes in the truck.
According to police, officers had to ask Chacon to come out of the home several times before he came out into a small hallway. Officers told him to show both of his hands. But Chacon would only show the officers one hand at a time.
Other officers at the scene were able to see through a window, and noticed that Chacon had a rifle behind him.
Police said Chacon’s speech was very slurred. He eventually stepped out far enough into the hallway that his body was visible. At that time, he was tased.
Chacon was then taken to a hospital. After being medically cleared, he was booked into the Oklahoma County Jail on several charges, including two counts of pointing a firearm, possession of firearm while intoxicated, reckless conduct while in possession of a firearm, discharging a firearm, felony destruction of property, and destruction of private property.
