A 911 call Saturday led to the arrest of an 18-year-old suspect Midwest City’s police chief says “has no soul.”
A woman in north Midwest City called 911 around 9:50 a.m. Saturday. The woman told the operator a man had broken into a neighbor’s home and had a gun to her neighbor’s head. Police say that suspect was 18-year-old Antonio Pruitt.
The Good Samaritan tells News 9 she watched Pruitt load property into a red SUV. The Good Samaritan also says Pruitt forced his elderly victim to wheel a safe out of the home in that woman’s husband’s wheelchair.
“It’s just horrible,” she said.
Police Chief Brandon Clabes says officers caught up to Pruitt just moments after he drove that red SUV back to his parents’ house. The Chief says Pruitt was still wearing a black mask and gloves. Pruitt has been out of jail on $82,000 bond.
Clabes says Pruitt was with a group of suspects who broke into an apartment last August. The Chief says three male victims were locked in a bathroom during that robbery, and a female victim was repeatedly raped.
Antonio Pruitt is now in the Oklahoma County Jail. His bond is $2 million.
