A 3.1 magnitude earthquake was recorded near Langston, Oklahoma, Thursday morning.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, this earthquake was recorded at 9:15 a.m. Thursday. Its epicenter was located six miles south, southwest of Langston, seven miles east, southeast of Guthrie, and 28 miles north, northeast of Oklahoma City.

It was about three miles deep.
