According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, 34-year-old Eric Anderson of Bogata, Texas, drowned at about 12:30 p.m. Sunday in the Broken Bow Lake, north of the “D” boat ramp.

Troopers said Anderson was floating on a foam pool noodle when he fell off for an unknown reason. He then went under the water and never resurfaced.
