Oklahoma City fire crews are working to find out why a mobile home caught fire early Wednesday morning.

Just before 2 a.m., firefighters responded to the fire at a mobile home located near Hiwassee Road and Memorial.

Despite an Oklahoma City fire station so close by, crews were unable to save the double-wide mobile home. There's not much left. It is a total loss.

There were also some high-end cars in the driveway. The homeowners said they show cars and train race horses on the 10-acre property.

The couple who lives here wasn't home when the fire was reported .There are security cameras which they believe will show someone deliberately setting this fire.

“We come out here and ride horses, and have fun. We can't do that no more. For someone to set their house on fire with their dog in here, something they can't replace with anything,” the residents' relative Shelly Goosby said.

Fire crews tell us it's very early to tell if it is arson. What didn't help were the windy conditions and there are no hydrants nearby, so crews with Jones and Edmond fire departments had to truck in water.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
