Norman police said they need the public's help in solving a suspicious death that occurred in an off-campus apartment one year ago.

Police said 27-year-old Owachige Osceola's body was discovered in her apartment on September 25, 2013.

The apartment is one of many on the 3200 block of Ridgecrest Court, on the edge of the OU campus.

Police won't say how Osceola died. However, police say the woman's family is offering a $2,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.

“We don't get very far in police work unless we get cooperation from the public, which is what we're asking for here,” Captain Tom Easley with the Norman Police Department said Friday afternoon.

Captain Easley said people with tips can remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at 405-366-STOP.
