The United States Geological Survey reported an earthquake near Enid, Sunday morning.
A 3.6 magnitude earthquake was reported at 7:01 a.m., 15 miles north, northwest of Enid and 47 miles west of Ponca City. The depth was over one mile.
There are no reports of major injury or damage at this time.
According to the USGS, earthquakes with magnitudes ranging from 2.5 to 3.0 are generally the smallest ones felt by humans. Damage is more likely from quakes at a 4.0 magnitude and higher.
