SW OKC Apartment Complex Evacuated For Small Fire

Residents at an Oklahoma City apartment complex were evacuated early Wednesday morning due to an apartment fire.

According to the fire department, crews responded to the fire just after 5:30 a.m. at the Oakcreek Apartments, located near Walker and S.W. 59th.

Crews on the scene reported seeing a large amount of smoke coming from an air conditioner unit. They were able to put out the fire.

One person was treated for smoke inhalation. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
